Model definition

The Ideal model is an unpowered three-pin voltage amplifier. It multiplies differential input voltage by a fixed very large gain and does not reference supply rails.

Inputs draw no current at product precision and the output has zero source impedance at product precision.

Equations

Vout=A0(V+−V−),A0=106V_{\mathrm{out}}=A_0\left(V_+-V_-\right),\qquad A_0=10^6
A fixed gain of one million regularizes the ideal feedback relationship.
I+=I−=0,Rout=0I_+=I_-=0,\qquad R_{\mathrm{out}}=0
The dependent source has infinite input resistance and zero output resistance at product precision.

Parameters

This model has no editable model parameters.

Limits

  • There are no supply pins or output limits.
  • Bandwidth, slew rate, current limit, offset, bias current, noise, CMRR, and PSRR are omitted.
