Account and data

Manage your profile and sign-in details, keep an offline copy of cloud data, or remove your account.

Select your account in the upper-right corner of OhmSpice to openAccount settings.

Update your profile

Open Profile to change your account display name or photo. Public profile changes require a verified email address. Under Public profile, edit Public display nameand choose Save public profile. Your account photo also appears on your public profile. Use Copy besideProfile link to share it; anyone with the link can view your public profile and public projects.

Change your email or password

  • Open Email, enter the new address, and choose Change email. You may need to confirm both the current and new addresses before the change takes effect.
  • Open Password & security to set a new password. Use at least eight characters.

Sign out

Save or export anything you want to keep before choosing Sign out. Signing out removes this account's drafts and unsaved changes from this browser. Your saved cloud projects and My Library Parts remain in your account. Choose Cancel in the confirmation to return and save your work.

Export cloud data

Open Data export and choose Export all. OhmSpice downloads a ZIP archive containing each cloud project as an.ohm file, each My Library Part as an.ohm-part.json file, and an export-report.jsonsummary.

Check the report after download. If one item could not be exported, the archive still contains the projects and Parts that succeeded and identifies each failure.

Delete your account

Account deletion cannot be undone. Export first if you want to keep a portable copy of your projects and Parts.

  1. Open Data export and find Delete account.
  2. Enter your current password and type DELETE.
  3. Choose Delete my account.

Deletion removes your profile, cloud projects and revisions, share links, My Library Parts, avatars, previews, and submitted circuit reports. Local drafts and preferences on this device are not cloud account data and remain in this browser. If you created the account with an external sign-in provider and do not have a password, set one underPassword & security first.
